I am starting to really take a shine to these horse pistols. If you are used to Navy-sized revolvers they can be rather intimidating size and weight-wise, but if you play with them for a spell you get used to them quickly. It's a ponderous, well-built chunk of iron and I would not hesitate to stuff it chock-full of powder behind a Lee 200gr conical...which, in fact, I intend to do this spring. No safe queen for me!

Just the opposite for me.  I started with Walkers and Dragoons. When I first handled a Navy, it felt   w a y y y yyyyy   light!

The horse pistols are really great aren't they?  I shoot my Navy and Army models more and love them too but when I really want to admire something there's just nothing like a Dragoon.

99,
 That,  .  .  .  is exactly right.

What's even more fun is to go to the range with a customer and let them shoot your Dragoons!  He shot my Dragoons better than his own  Remies with gated Kirst Konversions.      Heck!!! He shot my Dragoons better than I did !!!!!  That guy can shoot!!  Makes me feel good though to see that my guns work like I want them to,  now, I need some range time!! (and NEW glasses!!)

Hi Mike, these big guns can shoot:

The weight of the big Dragoons helps a lot with accuracy.

Yep, this guy proved it (my customer to me!). Light guns require more control to steady.
