Purcussion Cap Collecting
« on: February 27, 2019, 10:56:33 AM »
Does anyone besides me dabble at collecting percussion caps. Every gun show I go to, whenever I go to a flea market, garage sale etc. I am always on the lookout to them.

I do not have a lot of them but keep on looking.

Anyone else bitten by this bug?

People collect the tins. I've used some of those caps, especially those Remington caps in the white tins and all three sizes of the RWS caps.

I have never tried using the caps as I am blessed to have enough plus a bunch.

I figure they are old so compliment the tins.

I started a collection a few years back and am always on the lookout for ones I do not have. Have 32 different ones now. I'll try and post a picture.

I collect them at a moderate level. My favorite are the "Eley Bros" tins.

Of course they are and are they ever difficult to find and when you do, one needs a big bag full of money to buy it!   ^j)
