Powder coated bullets
« on: March 15, 2017, 05:49:14 PM »
I got a "starter kit" of 4 colors of powder and black Air Soft pellets a while ago. Decided it was time to see if I could do some as-cast boolits. I put some bullets, powder and the BBs in a closed container and shook them up good.

I made up 3 smaller batches for ease of handling and put the bullets on a tray I made for my shop toaster oven:

It's the latest popular technology in smokeless ammo.    Supposedly don't need bullet lube and eliminates leading of the barrel.  Lots of ammo and reloading suppliers are starting to sell powder coated bullets.
