Has anybody else tried breaking these sharp edges to relieve the tendency for percussion caps adhering to the Colt hammers...?

Thank you,

I was at my favorite gun shop last evening and a lonesome Uberti 1860 Army, followed me home. I think I will keep it...

Hi Bill, are there any indoor ranges close to you? If so, you may want to consider a .45 Colt conversion cylinder for your Walker where you can shoot smokeless loadings.

As soon as my wife's medical conditions allows it, we are going to move out of California...

I bought a second Walker last night, a Cimmaron. The first one I bought is a Uberti with excellent coloring and figured grips.

That makes two Walkers, to go with my two Third model Dragoons.

A problem in southern California is that most of the nearby ranges, those within 50 miles of me, have shut down. To get far enough away from civilization, to where it is legal to shoot, you will drive over 150 miles one way. And, you better have a current hunting license on you.

They don't have to take our guns, they just have to make it illegal to shoot anywhere.

If Pietta did the finishing on the Uberti Parts, would that make the finished guns Piettas?
