I'm assuming they are on the Cimarron site.  I cant find them though.  You have the link?

Hi, 380 ACP BP revolver, but why? Of course we can spend our money on anything we choose, but why an FFL regulated modern ammunition BP revolver? There are already .22 conversions for the 1862, low cost shooting if desired.

I also use .32 S&W conversion cylinders in my 1849s.

Richard

My standard answer - why not?

Because I always wanted a 1862 conversion in 38 and this is the closest I can get that still uses modern ammo and I don't like 22's in a 38

I'd like it with a 2" barrel and birdshead grips also

Hi jaxenro, other than the 22 conversion for the Uberti 1862 there are no Howell or Kirst conversions. I look forward to seeing your photos and shooting report.

Richard

I like the 380 ACP idea for the '62 Police.   I agree with Jaxenro,  a 2 or 3 inch barrel and birdshead grips would be fun.

Being a Colt open top adding a second barrel cut down would be easy and still keeping the original one
