I just picked up my second Walker. This one is a Second Generation one. New in the box, and never fired. Sort of a Christmas present to myself. Now I have one for each hand. :-*  8)

Good for you.   I have two Walkers also.   I bought the 2nd one thinking I would sell the least desirable of the two, since then I haven't thought about selling either one of them.

This was fun reading through this thread again.  The  'Manly lever leg slap'  as you put it, is what I do. The ASMs would always fall. So far though, Greyboxers stay put. 50 grains.  I ve  had 5 Walkers.  Still have 4 , ,   a h e m ,  well,  really only 3 now.

I want a Blackboxer.  Not pressing right now though.  Maybe a trade,- Greyboxer for a Blackboxer?  Hmm?

Hi, if you love Colts, you need to have a Walker...

I know some gravitate to the Dragoon, but if you want to get the experience of what a real man revolver is, get a Walker. You are a neophyte until you own and shoot the Walker. Then you will never look back.

Regards,
Richard

I couldn't agree more. The spout on the flask is only 48 grains, a sissy load.

Kry, the Gray Box(Sig Series) and the Black Box(2nd Gen) have some interesting differences. Different grip shapes, different trigger shapes and all of the Gray Boxer's have "COLT'S PATENT" on the frame whereas most of the Black Boxer's do not. Note that a few of the later Black Boxer's do have the "COLT'S PATENT" on the frame and do have the same grip and trigger shape as the Gray Boxer's. Then there is also the Heritage Edition 2nd Gen Walker which has a larger loading cut out. It also has gold engraving and pictures of Sam Colt and Sam Walker.

I have a Uberti Walker and an ASM Walker with Colt markings. I really like the ASM's with Colt markings.

LonesomePigeon,

That part you said about how only some of the Blackboxers have the   COLTS PATENT  on the frame,   can you explain that please?
