EM, what lens are you considering? It seems to me that you are very well equipped in that area now.

I was thinking a 100-400L, or a 28-300L. On the other hand Sigma makes a 150-500 that is well thought of, and a 120-600 that is good.

Got 20 pounds of bone-in pork shoulder rubbed to smoke on Thursday. I got another batch of pork belly started curing to smoke in a couple weeks. I got my stuff mostly packed to go out to work for the next three days.

Well, the last couple of days I have spent cleaning "stuff" in the basement. First off.....my table saw was getting stacked with all kinds of tools, parts, etc. so that got cleaned up nicely. Next is a small work table piled high. Gradually working that down and then on to the next bench, reloading area, storage, etc. Might take a couple more weeks but it needs to be done!

Wednesday, I brought Herself home from the hospital!  (Did I not already write that?)  Anyway, she was able to walk into the house and get settled before I uncrated the dogs, one at a time, to greet her.  The noise was deafening!

Yesterday, I started my annual trip around the sun.  I have completed 61 of them.

Spent the last week fighting spammers and hackers on these BPSmoke fora, Colt Country included. It's exhausting and time consuming, yet necessary.

Thanks. You really gotta hate people whose only purpose in life is to ruin other people's lives.

not a whole lot hard to get around when you just get a couple of screws put in your foot.
