Here is a photo of one of my Walkers.  A big, heavy brute built by ASM.

Strange... I always enjoy seeing one, even though now I know I don't want one.  ???

That's because they don't look as big and heavy as they really are. But you know that..... ;)

Here is a shot of my other Walker.  Not your typical Walker and not that much lighter.

Also an ASM.

Ringo,  If you would like, I can post a photo of the Walker next to whatever Colt styled revolver you own so you can see the size difference.

Thanks, Kevin ! In fact, I do know the difference. I have owned 3 Walkers successively, and I have confronted them with my Pockets and 1851s. I guess it's just that, to me, they look better from afar...  8)

Actually, I think that most owners of Walkers and Dragoons buy them because they "look good" and then once the newness wears off they tend to shoot other C&B revolves most of the time.  I haven't fired a shot from those two since 2014.

True StrawHat, for serious shooting I use my .44s and .36s, but when I want a really big boom for fun and just to impress those around me, I bring out the Walker.

Hi Sam, stop the pussyfooting!! When are you going to shoot it? I want to see your range report.

Shoot that damn Walker soon or I'm going to have the Walker police come over to your house and confiscate your Walker and give it to some deserving soul that will shoot it, like me.  *6' *6' *6'

Richard
