Reflecting on the CSA era today
« on: February 15, 2016, 04:55:34 PM »
So with the reflecting, I pulled out my Uberti Leech & Rigdon and had myself a little taste of tangeble history through the graces of being able to possess and shoot a reproduction version. The buckle for the belt rig for this revolver is also a reproduction of a style that Leech & Rigdon made during the war.

Beautiful photos! Like to have a calendar with shots like that.

I also say those pictures are extremely excellent.
Your statement "through the graces of being able to possess and shoot a reproduction version"
are my thoughts about loooking and, to small degree ,living  it's history.
Thanks for expressing it the way you did.Well done scooby.

Great pics. I like it that you let the brass get mellow instead of keeping it polished bright.
