« on: February 27, 2016, 12:42:46 PM »
1. Top ...is a FAP Griswold & Gunnison 36 Cal. ( no date code ) no Importer mark
 2. represents a Snider And Glassock 36 Cal.  Make & Importer unknown as it has been defarbed ( probably Euroarms )
 3. This is Turner Kirkland DGW piece, I think another Eoroarms ...
 only marks are :
top of barrel  >   HARPER & BURR   MACON GA.  C.S.A.
next right side flat > C.S. PAT. MAY  4 1864
 4. Lastly is Brasser Navy Arms  marked Euroarms and [AA] 1975 date code ( handled but un fired )

#4  >>> I wanted the holster,  the gun came with,  as a perk !

FAP is Pietta. Not familiar with one marked Harper & Burr. Looks like a steel frame .44 "navy"

Yes Sir FAP is Pietta IIRC circa early -mid 70's

The Harper & Burr was Dixie Gun Works stamp  these were early 70's there were no marks on it other than the marks listed & the 3 digit S#
It was conglomeration of HARPER  Ferry and Spiller & BURR , something "Ol" Turner cooked up I'm told.
good eye, It is a rebated 44 cal.  all the other are 36.
