How about a picture just to compare sizes!

The .31 pocket models are fun with the 32 short conversion cylinder.  and it's a six shooter

I've had my eye out for one of the .31 pocket models but want the one with a loading lever, not sure why think they look better?
I would do the conversion cylinder then.

Just saw this thread.  As some of you know, I really like the Pocket Police Model.  Unfortunately, there is not enough room in the cylinder to convert it for cartridges.  If you want a convertible piece, AND the small frame, it will have to be a 31.

i also have a second gen colt police 36 5 shooter. this is ...[except for my extra large mits]... a very fun and accurate ...[after installing a half penny front sight]... revolver. i love shooting it with the 5 inch barrel.

however i have desire for a 31 as well. i also like the look of the loading lever and so this is what i look for at a reasonable price.

kew looking revolvers above. im jealous like a big dog. only thing that separates me from a set of them is the up coming move back to the world.

its true enough but i am done with the climate up here as my old bones are getting achy in the cool weather ... lungs dont do well in the summer fires n smoke ... AND finally the truth is my better half is done with this 15 year camping trip ... LOL

i am keeping my eye open for a .31 to accompany my 62 police. i have the little rem .31 but i never got along with the remington grip style.

I have the good ole Pietta 62 Police (the 6 shot cylinder).  I have to say, that has become my favorite pistol, and I am now in danger of Marci stealing it from me.  (she took it to the range last week as opposed to her .44 Remmy because she is fixing to have a cyst removed from her wrist, so her hand is having some issues.)  She was dead on with it, loved the weight and balance.  Just like my Uberti 1873 Hombre; she took that one and I had to go and buy another one! *6'

Yeah, ya gotta watch them 'shootin' spouses'. They will clean out your safe just as soon as your wallet.

What Pietta calls an 1862 is really thier version of the 1861 revolver.  Not a bad revolver but not an 1862.
