Hi. I also have been needing a mold of greater than .457. I actually emailed moosemoulds a few weeks ago and they informed me that they no longer sell roundball molds. I know that Pedersoli lists some roundball molds in the .462 - .464 range but I don't know of anyplace in the USA that carries them. If you do find a source for a .459 - .464 mold please do post it here.

Contact Tom at accurate molds. I do not recall him having RB molds but a call couldnt hurt.

Well dang, I was going to suggest Jeff Tanner. Looked him up for a link for you and found out he passed away this past fall. You might try Larry Callahan.

Thanks for the suggestions. I checked out accurate molds' website, the FAQ page says he cannot make roundball molds. Callahan Bagmolds http://www.bagmolds.com/UNZIPPED/htdocs/1.shtml looks promising. I would rather have a 2-cavity with wooden handles but if this is all I can get it should be good.

Check out Track Of The Wolf (TOW). They used to sell pre-cast balls in some pretty unusual sizes.

I've enlarged a mold using a Dremel and a spherical grinding wheel. Then finish casting by rolling the balls between iron slabs.

Hi, I did find any 0.460 reamers on ebay, but did find 0.459":

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=0.459+reamer&_sacat=0&LH_TitleDesc=0&_osacat=0&_odkw=0.460+reamer&LH_TitleDesc=0

IMO ream a Lee bullet mold.

Richard

I went ahead and got one of the .464" molds from Dixie. It's made by Pedersoli. I will be casting some balls and eventually I will post a range report.
