I made this thing y-day.
Don't ask what it is cause I don't have a name for it.
I went for my excersise walk the other day, and found a dead bird on the sidewalk.
It was pretty well dried up. Prbly got swiped by a cat.
So I took it home, ripped the head, wings and tail  feathrs off it. It was just a small bird.

I walked in the woods the other day, at my brothers house.
I wanted to make something out of the natural earth.
I gathered some old dried up pine branches, pine cones, small twig, a butternut,
a couple quartz stones, and a stone. I shaped this hard stone by hitting it to chip it,
and also rubbed a stone on it for awhile to get some axe like shape to it.
I also found some pine sap pitch, to use for natural glue. Took it off a pine tree with a branch missing on it.
I kinda shaped it as an arrow with a shaft and tail feathers.
All the leather is wood pegged to hold I it together.
So here it is. Yes I'm bored, but it was something to do..
so it goes,,

Recently I have been to MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK in Southwestern Colorado , while there I took  several guided tours, the guides talked about how
the inhabitants  seemed to just move an disappear from history . On one tour I broke away with my side companion  " stick cane " , an ventured into a
roped off area marked with -  DANGER DO NOT ENTER  -  signs  , an other verbiage  - snakes - poison oak - rock slides - . I went inside this room an painted on the ceiling were pictures depicting a  ceremonial dance ... the persons were holding clubs looking like the one you have there  FUZZY . I returned to the guided tour an later the guide talked about  the  " lost  winged beaked tribe "  ,  giving no more details .     panic     I will send pics to FUZZY  for  posting ...
