I went to a gun show in NH last weekend.  Lots of good guns, no good deals, except for this Colt Paterson reproduction I found for $250.  It was made in 1970 - Pietta, I think.  Mechanically it's really good.  I might "age/antique" the finish.  I have a loading tool on the way from Taylors.
These are tough to find.  I had one that I sold a few years ago and I wish I had kept it.  I bought it from Smokin' Gun many years ago, and he guided me through the reassembly of the gun over the phone.

I sold one to Smokin in 2008 when I was selling everything and moving to town.

There's no manufacturer's stamp on it, only the date and the Italian proof marks.  I think it might be an Uberti due to the four-slotted nipples.  I got the loading tool from Taylor's but it has the wrong nipple wrench on the end.  Oh well.  Great gun.  I'm working on removing the stuck nipples.

Is this forum still costing someone to keep it running?  Money not well spent.

No extra costs. I have not had the heart to take it offline. I see it as a place for the old coots to keep in touch.
