Conversion cylinder with loading gate, .45 LC I assume?  The pic makes the cartridge look longer for some reason, at least on my monitor.
If it shoots then I have it, am about to get it, want it, or plotting to get it

60 grains of FFFG in a .45LC case?  That has to be a squeeze.

Not Walt (although he is a close friend) ;)

Still a 1st model (oval) bolt and she works fine!

Sweet set up. looks like it might be a 45-60, it would make a great companion for a 1876 Winchester!  ;)

How is the point of aim on that set up? Does it shoot high like the C&B Colts?  {;(

Yes it does shoot high at 20 paces........
I'm searching for another barrel to dovetail for a rear sight.
I'm betting that it will shoot to point of aim at there at hunting distance though {;:

Rock

The 45/70 parent case won't work within the centerline of the Walker/Dragoon cylinder.
444 cases will but require special reamers and dies. Just shoot me a PM or email to: buckoffatwindstream.net (replace the "at"), I'll give ya the lowdown..........
