This is  is a specialty forum which often used for reference. Activity is slow but I can not understand how your statistics reflect no activity since July 2012.
But, yeah, come on over to the Remmy forum... http://1858remington.com/discuss/

In order to get this site active again, I refer you to this thread on TFL  http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=560401  looking for information about a replica maker that uses (used?) the logo of BFB in a circle.

Pony up y'all & lets get the investigation going.

I remember having one like that back in the early '70s, and I seem to remember it being from Spain. I remember that because it seemed odd to me that it was from Spain , when all my other c&b revolvers where from Italy.

I would like to see this forum get going again!  I like this one as it fits me. The suggestions to go to the Remmy forum is fine if you are a Remington sort. I happen to like Colts and the many other percussion revolvers made over the years.

I can appreciate people enjoying the Remington forum however, I suppose I am strange but I can not find the same beauty in a Remington that I can find in a Colt!

Additionally, there are few Remington models compared to Colt. Not just originals but reproductions as well.

I will do my part to liven this forum up.

I'm guessing you will, Terry! Sounds like you've moved to a beautiful part of the country!
