Just aquired NIB LaMat Calvery
« on: June 25, 2014, 08:57:16 PM »

I just acquired an New in the Box (with papers) LaMat Calvary revolver.   {;( [/img]It has never been fired.  It is in a very nice box with ball mold and nipple wrench.

It was imported by Navy Arms. the only markings on the gun are on top of barrel. Col LaMat with some scroll work. On the right side is says: Navy Arms Co Ridgefield N.J.  On left side of the barrel under the loading lever it is marked "black powder only". The is a 3 digit number on frame next to left of trigger guard. I am assuming it is the serial number. There are no proof marks or date stamps or indication of country of manufacture.

Hoping my pictures will post. I am not good at this and fingers usually fixes them for me! Additionally, a photographer I am not.

If you post a link to the photo I'll see if I can fix it.
BTW, if it says "LaMat" on the box, it's a fake. Correct spelling is "LeMat"

CaptainKirk,

It does say "LeMat". It is of course a fake. I wish it was real   :)

It is a Pietta sold by Navy Arms.

In addition to not being able to figure out picture posting , even with your instructions, I can not type good either.

I am trying to include the image info.

Additionally the revolver includes a nipple wrench and a bullet mold, operating instructions and the original bill of sale from Navy Arms.

Sorry. You'll have to post a general link to your on-line photo album, then I can fix it.
