It's funny
« on: April 16, 2018, 12:43:17 PM »
It's funny...I look at various gun ads on a daily basis and just have no urge to buy anything...even the cheapies. Yet, I was in the same mindset when I happened upon my last purchase (Pietta Starr SA) and after that purchase I got all wired up. Now, not so much....again. I have a large enough collection that I don't feel a pressing need for anything, but you never know when you will get blindsided.
How about you guys? Anything particular you are "jonesing" for?

I am with you on the Starr. I do not have one and would love to get one. I recently had to buy and new pick up and tires for 2 vehicles so that is calming me down for now. Ha!

Unfortunately with my current shooting situation, buying any more BP revolvers is not really a smart idea. The only BP friendly range is a 45 minute drive, charges $30.00 per day (whether you shoot 5 minutes or 5 hours) and is closed from Dec. 1st through May 1st. Sort of like the golf courses around here...(not that I play golf, just sayin')...when I go, I try to make a day of it. But then comes the aftermath...the cleaning of the guns, which generally takes an hour or so per gun. Results? I try to shoot only one or two guns all day. What this means is that only a few in the collection get shot per outing and frankly, I've got guns I've never fired.
Bottom line; I really gotta WANT it these days.
