My midget Front Stuffer
« on: August 08, 2013, 07:52:31 PM »
Picked up this "gently used" Lyman Plains Pistol last year. .50 cal, shoots a .495RB in a .015 patch (yep, it's tight!) With 30gr Pyrodex P it groups like a custom-built pistol!
Funny thing about these; they look a lot uglier (read; Plain Jane) in the Lyman catalog than to the eye, and it feels marvelous in the hand! Plus, it barks like a big dog even with 30 grains!
The barrel and action is made by Investarms and appears to be of very high quality.
