Charleville
« on: July 07, 2020, 04:17:12 PM »
Digging through the pile and found this old Charleville. Got it before (?) the bicentennial. Imported by Navy Arms and made by Miroku. I used it a bit and retired it. It accounted for several deer even though smooth h bored.

A good friend of mine and I hunted together. He had a Brown Bess. Charleville several pounds lighter. And the swivels did not hurt either.

That's awesome Strawhat!

I've always wanted a Charleville because of it's tie to the Revolution. Someday I'll get one. I like that yours has age on it too. Looks more like an original.

I have never had a Charleville but did have a Brown Bess. That took a deer before I sold it some time ago.

Where do you live?  It could be available for the right trade.!
