Double barrel .60 cal flintlock pistol

this was the Indian made gun, it sparked and shoots every time but it didn't look good, too glossy and shiny.

It is now aged to look older and look as good as it shoots.

Very nice! A few years ago they introduced a double barrel flint lock shotgun. A friend of mine got one and re-worked it to help with the "lines". At that time they were the only game in town except for custom built guns....$$$.

i like everything about it except the flint part.. now if it was a percussion cap, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4.5 stars

That's cool as all heck! The flintlocks make it even cooler.

I don't know how "Fielder" aged his gun, but I have done a couple or 3. On one (a revolver) I used bleach to remove the bluing. On others I used either bleach or mustard.

I've used white vinegar to remove the blueing and turn the steel a nice grey. Then blob mustard on here and there, to create some dark spots. It looks pretty natural.
