I'ma say it's a 25-20 rimfire but I don't recognize the head stamp.

Kinda hard to guess with nothing to compare size to. 40-50 Sharps?

It's a 10.4x38mm rimfire, also known as .41 caliber Swiss.

Primarily used in the Swiss Vetterli rifle.

The Peabody rifle was also chambered for it.

My buddy who passed away left me a big box of loose ammo. I'm still going through it. This round is a copper cased original.

I was going to say .43 Spanish but I see that wasn't it. I just bought a 1881 rolling block built under contract for the Spanish Army in Oviedo, Spain.

Well, I was gonna say either 40-50 SBN or 41 Swiss. I have a couple of those original 41 Swiss cartridges, and have formed a bunch for center fire shooting.
