Title: My Peabody rifle
Post by: mazo kid on June 29, 2017, 03:41:20 PM
This rifle doesn't fall into any of the categories listed, except here under "miscellaneous". This is a Peabody rifle I have had for a while now. I have some brass for it now; it was sold to me as a 45-50 caliber. It takes a necked down cartridge formed from 50 Basic.

There is pretty decent barrel blue, the bands are nice and bright.

Screws are all nice, and the bore is shiny bright!

Really nice mazo. Black powder cartridges only I assume.

I do indeed like that one, Mazo! Clean, simple and elegant.

Don't know anything about a Peabody but this one looks like fun.

Yep, they don't come much cleaner than that. That is one fine piece. Would be proud to own and shoot it.
