OK, I have had this for some time and I still don't know if it is original/old. It is definitely hand forged, but for what use?

This style of axe was said to have been found at the Fort in Ohio, but no one seems to have an original. They could also be called a Kentucky belt axe. Because of their size and light weight, they have limited use, IMO.
