Hi Scooby, that is sure one fine looking revolver. Who made it and how did it shoot?

Regards,
Richard

What he said! I love the case colors and the wood, which looks like Pietta stained hardwood in the last couple years of production grip profile. Looks like a plain cylinder, also. That's accurate.

If the manufacture date is lower than [CN], it must be an Uberti.

Working on getting my Pietta L&R in photo shape, but it is not as pretty as yours.

Scooby, you gotta let us know more, sir!

Jim

Say men, it is the same Uberti that is featured in my two other previous threads in this section. Unfortunately, all the older pics are now gone.

Shoots dead on for windage Richard, and around 4 inches high at 25 yards when given a full bead. A very smooth and great shooting piece it is.

Right you are sourdough, [CD] - 2009 Uberti. The grips have been refinished and I had to make the cylinder plain. Just could not take the roll engraving on such a model.

The flask sure is shiney Hawg. I think it has a higher alloy content than most flasks. It simply does not take on a mello patina quickly like my other flasks. It is the Florentine version from Pedersoli. The other Colt style flasks that I got at the same time as this one do not even compare.

It probably has a clear coat of varnish on it.

No varnish came on this one. I have stripped it from many new Colt style flasks though. This flask has taken on a slight discoloration even though it don't look like it in the pic, but it is going to take longer than most of my others.
