Cased Philadelphia Deringers
« on: June 02, 2014, 02:16:41 PM »
I am selling this cased set of Deringers, they are cased in a leather bound book case. These are the PROTOTYPES, THEY ARE SERIAL NUMBERED 000a & 000b, these are the guns used in all the prmotonial material when they were offered for sale. The outside of the case shows wear, Merrill Lindsay told me "this set has been back and forth across the Atlantic more times that a Secretary of State". Inside everything is mint new. I am asking $2500.00 plus postage to be quoted. If you are interested please contact me at 859-296-0090 or baskethilt@windstream.net

I'll answer an early question, this set is exceptional in that since it was the prototype all work was of the best quality, yes the accessories are gold plated, the engraving is all hand done, beautiful wood, top hand checkering, everything the best on this set.

Very nice! Too rich for my blood, plus I'm more of a revolver guy, but appreciate the photo and history!
