Navy Arms Civil War Centennial 1861 - 1961, G&U Navy Revolver

The particulars of the Navy Arms G&U 1851 Navy are reasonably well known to this crowd, I would imagine. 

I am looking for insight on a variant within the early G&U run.... has an engraved cylinder with an 1861-1961 rollmark.  Its a civil war centennial commemorative, am I right?

Mine is in the 54xx serial range, xvii.
